BALLET TRAINING
ABOUT
Raquel Rodríguez was born in Gran Canaria, Spain, where her passion for ballet began at a very young age.
At thirteen, she was awarded a scholarship to study at the renowned Carmina Ocaña and Pablo Savoye Ballet School in Madrid, a step that marked the start of her professional journey.
After years of dedication and training, she joined the Northern Ballet Professional Graduate Programme in the United Kingdom, performing with the company in two productions.
Combining her love for dance with medicine, Raquel pursued a degree in Podiatry Medicine at the Complutense University of Madrid, followed by two master’s degrees - one in Sports Podiatry and another in Research and Methodology in Health Sciences.
Her professional experience includes clinical work and collaborations with professional football players, where she applied her knowledge of biomechanics, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Today, based in Dublin (Ireland), Raquel works full-time as a podiatrist, merging her background in ballet and sports performance.
Raquel loves running, ballet, football, pilates and yoga. Her approach is holistic, evidence-based and deeply human - helping each dancer and athlete move smarter, prevent injuries, and reach their best potential.

I’m training to become a professional dancer and started working with Raquel a few months ago. Since then, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my strength and technique. Her exercises and corrections really make a difference. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with her.

I used to get blisters and back pain every time I ran. Raquel helped me find the right shoes and gave me a few tips and exercises to change my running technique. It’s still early, but I can already feel the difference
